What is Injury Prevention for Massage Therapists?

This is a more involved course for therapists already qualified in massage or reflexology and is a practical course involving massage using crystals. This course does not teach about the properties of crystals etc though there is information in the manual. This course teaches how to use various crystals (eg palm stones and crystal spheres) as massage tools to prevent injury to your hands and thumbs. It also covers many different techniques eg running crystal spheres down the spine, which is a lovely movement.

Course Content

This course will recap on the basics and then go on to cover:

• Crystal formation
• How crystals work
• The chakras and their connection with the body and crystals
• Problems associated with the chakras
• Choosing cleansing and charging crystals, using wands, tumble stones, palm stones and spheres for Facial Massage & Body Massage
• Also points in various configurations
• There are 4 different massages depending on which type of crystals is being used ie wand or sphere etc.

Entry qualifications

• You must hold a Massage or Reflexology qualification.
