TSUBOKI® Hand Massage Course

Cost: £115

What is TSUBOKI® Hand Massage?

TSUBOKI Hand massage completes the trilogy (face, foot and hand), and is the most acessible of all massages. The meridians that run though the hands and arms are related to the METAL and FIRE elements, so by working on them we are having primarily DETOXING and CALMING influences.

  • TSUBO means acupressure point - this is a place along a meridian where the energy can be most influenced, affecting the body on many levels
  • KI Means the energy that flows through the meridians
  • TSUBOKI® therefore means massage using the Tsubos to influence the flow of Ki in the body

Course content

The course covers the techniques, many of which can be incorporated into a full body massage, but Tsuboki® is also an excellent stand alone treatment, so you offer your clients a treatment that is a little different and very effective. More than just a hand massage, it includes:

  • A detailed warm up to the forearm (as this is where most of the muscles are that control hand movement)
  • Warm up and mobilisation of hands and wrists
  • A thorough massage on all surfaces of the hands, thus accessing all reflex areas
  • Over 50 acupressure points on 6 meridians on the hands and forearms.
  • In addition, you will learn an emergency point on the hand to use in case of a heart attack, and reflexes that can help to speed up weight loss.
