This course will benefit those who wish to learn about crystal massage which is designed to combine the benefits of crystal healing with the power of massage and also for those therapists who are finding they are having problems with joints due to masdage work and are looking for methods of  avoid injuries during massage and associated therapies.

What is Injury Prevention for Therapists?

This is a course specifically developed for qualified massage therapists & reflexologists involving therapy using crystals. Day 1 teaches about the properties of crystals and day 2 teaches how to use various crystals eg palm stones and crystal spheres as tools to prevent injury to hands and thumbs. It also covers many different techniques, see course content.

What does the course cover?

Day One will cover the basics about using crystals within holistic therapy.  This day can be done without Day 2 should you wish, the cost is £90 and you do not require any qualifications for this day.

Day Two is a more involved practical course for therapists already qualified in massage and/or reflexology, involving therapy using crystals. It teaches how to use various crystals eg palm stones and crystal spheres, as tools to prevent injury to your hands and thumbs. It also covers many different techniques eg running crystal spheres down the spine, which is a lovely movement. There are 4 different massages depending on which type of crystals is being used ie wand or sphere etc.

  • Crystal formation
  • How crystals work
  • The chakras and their connection with the body & crystals
  • Problems associated with the chakras 
  • The chakras and their connection with the body & crystals
  • Problems associated with the chakras
  • Choosing cleansing & charging crystals
  • Using tumble stones
  • Points and pendulums
  • Working with different layouts and balancing the chakras using points & pendulum 

Day two
  • Choosing cleansing and charging crystals
  • Using wands, tumble stones, palm stones and spheres for: facial & body massage
  • Also points in various configurations: there are 4 different massages depending on which type of crystals is being used eg wand or sphere etc.
  • Working with the zones of the feet
  • Various configurations using tumble stones, wands & points

Entry qualifications

You must hold a Reflexology qualification e.g. VTCT, ITEC, FHT, AOR etc.
