Sports Massage Refresher Course

Cost: £130 1 day or £240 2 day

This course is run as private tutoring for individuals or a group of candidates who have either:

• Recently qualified in Sports Massage but are not yet confident enough to begin practising, or
• Those who may have qualified some time ago but need to update their skills.

The session/s will be structured towards the candidate’s individual needs, but advanced massage techniques such as classic massage strokes, cross-fibre friction, soft tissue release, muscle energy technique, neuro muscular technique and soft tissue mobilization can be covered. There will be a recap of anatomy enabling you to understand the positioning of individual muscles in order for you to choose the correct technique for individual clients. These techniques will allow you to treat your future clients with confidence by following a variety of routines enabling you to reap the success that these extra ‘tools’ bring you. But requirments for the session/s will be discussed in advance of any booking being made.

 

You must be the holder of a suitable Sports Massage qualification.
