What is Deep Tissue Massage?

Deep tissue massage is a technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the muscular fibres, tendons and fascia.

Who is this course suitable for?

This purely practical one day course is designed for those already qualified in massage and aims to help you develop advanced massage techniques which will enable you to be more confident and specific in your treatments. This will open up your client base by being able to offer more than a relaxation massage, and you will be able to treat clients with muscular tenderness and lack of flexibility with more much confidence.
