What will you learn?

The benefits of Hot Stone Massage are:

The technique uses heated Basalt Lava stones that warm the client's muscles, allowing a much deeper working of the tissues than a conventional massage. Stones are chosen to correspond to specific parts of the body, oil is smoothed onto the client and the stone is then worked along the skin in place of the therapist's hand.

What is Hot Stone Massage?

Hot Stone Massage is becoming ever popular in the UK and uses the heat from warm basalt stones which penetrates deeply to help loosen and sooth tightened, congested muscles. This is an ideal therapy to apply on its own or even incorporated into other treatments such as Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Indian Head Massage.

This is an advanced massage masterclass and therefore students must already be qualified in massage holding at least a Level 3 in Swedish Massage or Level 3 in Anatomy & Physiology.
