Offer solutions, not modalities
They are thinking something along the lines of: “I do Swedish massage and Thai massage and hypnotherapy…I can see how you’d do hypnotherapy online, but I don’t know how you’d do an online Thai massage!”
The problem is that you are thinking only in terms of the modalities you offer.
Working online requires a different type of thinking.
- Creating an offer to put online doesn’t have to be about selling the individual treatments you are qualified in. Instead it’s about deciding WHAT RESULTS your offer is going to provide.So that means; Who is it going to help?
What problem is it going to solve?
Once you know the answers to that, then you work from the problem to the solution:
- What would it take you to solve that problem?
- What do you need to do, to help get your client from where they are, to where they want to be?
- How would you put together all your skills/experiences/qualification/knowledge etc to make that happen?
When you’ve worked that out, then you package it all up into your offer.
